Custom dyno tuning, Orlando

Tuned on our dyno. Not on a hunch.

Every calibration we write is made and verified on our own DynoJet, in house at 6954 Venture Circle. You watch the pulls, you leave with the graph, and the number on it is the number your car actually makes.

Ford and GM only, which is why we are good at it. Coyote Mustangs and F-150s on Justin's side of the shop, LS and LT Camaros, Corvettes, Cadillacs and trucks on Chris's.

What a session is

What you get for the money

A tune is not a file. It is a morning on the rollers with someone who has done thousands of them. Here is what is inside every custom dyno tune we sell.

A look before a pull

Plugs, fuel, belts, boost leaks, codes. A car that is not right does not go on the dyno until it is. Cars arriving with someone else's work get a pre-inspection first.

Baseline, then the work

A stock or as-arrived pull so the gain is measured, not claimed. Then fuel, timing, cam phasing, boost and transmission strategy are worked through on the rollers.

Verified, not just written

Wideband and knock are watched on every pull. The finished calibration is proven at full load before it leaves, on the fuel you actually run.

The graph is yours

You leave with the dyno sheet and a straight answer about what the combination can and cannot do next. If a number appears on this site, it came off one of these.

What we tune

Both sides of the shop

HP Tuners on everything. Chris writes the GM calibrations, Justin writes the Ford ones, and the two of them have been doing this for a combined 25 years.

Ford

2011 and newer 5.0 Coyote Mustangs, naturally aspirated or supercharged. 2015 and newer EcoBoost Mustangs. 2021 and newer F-150 5.0 and EcoBoost, including the PCM unlock the newer trucks need before anything can be written. 2024 and 2025 Raptor R. Ford transmission tuning for the 10R80 too, so the tune and the shifts agree with each other.

GM

Gen 5 and Gen 6 Camaro SS and ZL1. C5, C6 and C7 Corvette, LT1 and LT4. CTS-V, ATS-V and the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing. LS and LT Silverados and Sierras, including trucks that have had the DOD system deleted. Cam swaps, blowers, E85 and flex fuel setups.

What it costs

Priced before it starts

Starting prices for the most common sessions, taken straight out of our own estimates. Your quote is written for your car and your parts before the car is booked, with labor shown as its own line.

From $1,400

Custom dyno tune, naturally aspirated 2018 to 2023 Mustang GT. EcoBoost Mustang sessions start at the same figure.

From $1,490

Custom dyno tune, 2021 and newer F-150, including the PCM unlock.

From $1,630

Custom dyno tune on a supercharged or turbocharged Mustang GT or F-150.

From $330

Transmission calibration for a 2017 and newer automatic, added to any session or on its own.

GM sessions are quoted per car, because a cam-only LT1 and a blown LT4 on E85 are not the same morning. Tell us the combination and you will have a number before you drive over.

People drive here for this

"Justin tuned my 2018 mustang gt back in the day and knows his stuff!! I was having issues with my car and decided to take the 2hr drive up to Orlando to go see them because I knew I'd be in good hands. About 45 minutes after I dropped my car off I got a call from Justin that he had found the issue."

"I was looking for someone to tune my 2013 Mustang GT and as soon as I saw coyote specialty I knew I'd want to give them a shot. Spoke back and forth with Justin for a while and was able to have them repair my car and tune it. My car feels amazing! More responsive and running great."

Questions

Before you book a tune

Do you do remote or emailed tunes?

No. Everything we sell is tuned in person on our dyno, because that is the only way we can stand behind it. If you are too far away to drive over, we would rather tell you that than send a file we never verified on your car.

Can I rent the dyno?

No. It is a working tool for our own jobs rather than a rental, which is how it stays calibrated and available for the cars we are responsible for.

How long does a session take?

Plan on the car being with us for the day. Most naturally aspirated sessions are a morning. Forced induction, flex fuel and transmission work take longer, and we would rather keep the car an extra hour than rush the last pull.

What should I bring?

A full tank of the fuel you intend to run, a car with no known mechanical issues, and a list of everything that has been changed on it. If parts are going on at the same time, we install and tune in one visit.

My car was tuned somewhere else. Can you take it over?

Yes, and it happens a lot. Anything that is not stock gets a pre-inspection first so we know what we are starting from. From there it is treated like any other custom session.

Do you tune anything other than Ford and GM?

Ford and GM are our strong suits, but we have a variety of experience in other platforms. Call or email the shop with what you have and we will do our best to accommodate.

Tell us the combination

Year, engine, what is on it, what fuel you run. We will come back with a plan and a price, and a day to bring it in.
